Nonprofits in Santa Barbara
What follows is a categorical listing of all of the nonprofits in Santa Barbara (that we know of). Because of space limitations, we were unable to include address, contact name or lengthy description of organizations; neither could we include all of the many clubs and fraternal organizations that provide much-needed social and philanthropical opportunities for Santa Barbarans.
Most listings below are nonprofits; some are groups or programs affiliated with nonprofit organizations. We tried to include accurate information about every nonprofit in our community. If your organization is not listed here, please contact us at 564-5244 e-mail: gardner@newspress.com and we will add it to the same listing of nonprofits on our Web site, newspress.com.
(By the way, the Community Resources and Information Service, a program of the Family Service Agency, publishes a comprehensive county guide to nonprofit human resources agencies every year. The CRIS Directory is available for $32, shipping not included, by calling 965-1001.) Mark Gardner, Section Editor
